Why should I join the SGA? Because you will:
- Be the voice of every student and help improve campus life;
- Make new friends and connections with students from all nine NPC locations;
- Learn to work as a team and help give back to the NPC student community;
- Earn volunteer hours to help with scholarships and applications;
- Gain leadership experience;
- Recommend and purchase items that improve NPC student life;
- Help organize campus activities and community events;
- Look great on your résumé or university application;
- Have lots of fun!
SGA yearly events include:
- Brain Food Drives: A tabling event aimed at offering snacks to the student body during finals week every Spring and Fall Semester.
- Sweet Treat Socials: Parties held at various NPC locations with delicious treats, music, and fun games.
- Laptop Scholarship: Offered every year, one laptop is awarded to a student from each campus, center, and now online only students as well.
- Eagle Fest: Help set up booths, play games, and enjoy the food and music with your community!
- University Transfer Road Trips: Overnight trips to campuses like University of Arizona and Arizona State University.
- NPC Volunteer Events: Join us in supporting events like the annual Pedal the Petrified to raise scholarship funds for fellow NPC Students.
- Club Collaboration Events: Be a part of other clubs’ events too, as SGA collaborates on exciting events like the Valentine’s Self-Love Week and the Student Leadership Conference.
