Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS), in partnership with Northland Pioneer College, is committed to providing scholarships to students pursuing a certificate of completion, associate degree, or baccalaureate degree from Northland Pioneer College (NPC). Home and Community-Based Services Career and Educational Training and the Behavioral Health Workforce Program are funded through the American Rescue Plan to meet the workforce's needs.
Eligibility Requirements:
Before applying, please review the following eligibility requirements. You must:
Have US Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or be an Immigrant with Refugee Status.
Be enrolled in a declared certificate, associate, or baccalaureate program.
Be enrolled at or have submitted an application to Northland Pioneer College.
Intend to work for a Home and Community-Based Service (HCBS) behavioral health or a long-term care provider or organization after completing the degree or certification program.

AND ATTEST THAT:
As a recipient of this scholarship, I confirm my intention to work for a Home and Community-Based Service (HCBS) behavioral health or long-term care provider organization after completing the course, degree, or certification program. I understand that if I fail a class and/or withdraw from the program prior to that time, I will be responsible for repayment of the failed course and/ or the program to NPC.
*Only students pursuing a behavioral health degree may apply.
AND ATTEST THAT:
As a recipient of this scholarship, I commit to work for a Home and Community-Based Service (HCBS) behavioral health or long-term care provider organization as a behavioral health worker for a minimum of two years or for a period that equals the length of the program completed, whichever is greater. I understand that if I do not complete the work requirement, fail, and/or withdraw from the program prior to that time, I will be responsible for repayment to NPC.
