- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Higher Education experience.
- Associate degree in a related field and 2 years’ related experience.
- Assess training needs for new and existing employees to ensure that training and development opportunities are aligned with meeting employee development objectives, goals and mandated requirements.
- Identify and/or provide technical assistance in identifying relevant resources to support training needs and requirements.
- Maintain training and development resources, including online training programs, manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other development resources. Coordinate training facilities, equipment, supporting materials, and attendance.
- Inform employees about training options.
- Map training plans for individual employees, departments, and divisions.
- Maintain employee and institutional training records using Jenzabar/Moodle/MyNPC and SafeColleges.
- Manage training evaluations to ensure effectiveness and applicability to employee needs and institutional objectives initiating revised processes as needed. Collects, compiles, communicates and reports results of evaluation, attendance and training data.
- Support the use of the online training management system or learning management system (LMS).
- Process requests for professional development pay increases.
- Assist employees with training questions.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of Windows, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
