If you’ve listened closely enough over the past few months, you may have heard sweet melodies and voices ring as you pass Northland Pioneer College’s Performing Arts Center on Wednesday nights. They are the practice sessions for the Silver Creek Singers, a group of 63 singers who have come together from throughout the area to form an adult community choir at Northland Pioneer College.

Over forty students and staff from across Northland Pioneer College took to the streets, roads, and wide-open spaces in observance of Earth Day, April 22, on a mission to make a difference, no matter how large or small.

The Navajo County Community College District Governing Board (DGB), which oversees Northland Pioneer College (NPC), adopted a preliminary 2025-2026 budget at its April 15 meeting. Several key items were highlighted for the upcoming fiscal year. The initiatives emphasize the college’s commitment to helping students, employees, and the communities it serves.
