Initial salary range of $26,734 to $32,080 per year depending on education and experience.

SBDC Director
Valid Arizona driver's license
- Any combination of: Commercial Credit Underwriting,
- Navajo and Hopi business licensing experience, 5 years success as a small business owner.
- Prior SBDC or SCORE business consultant.
- Associate degree in business administration or related field.
- Lives in a community located along or above I-40 in Navajo County.
- Provide 1 to 1 confidential business advising to clients who are located in the Northern Region of Navajo and Apache counties to include the Navajo Nation and Hopi reservations.
- Conduct small business training workshops in person and via webinars.
- Conduct market and demographic research for business owners who are working on their business plans and who need information to determine market segmentation.
- Use Constant Contact to send out event notifications.
- Enthusiastically promote SBDC services and SBDC training events to encourage participating in the SBDC program and attendance at workshops.
- Follow Policies and Procedures for SBDC, Arizona SBDC Network and host institution/organization/organization.
- Attend network professional development workshops that are conducted bi-annually in various locations through-out the state of AZ.
- Other duties as assigned.
Any combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities in:
- Business Planning, including Strategic Planning and Business Plan Development
- Financial Projection Analysis using Excel or similar products
- Ability to create PowerPoint Presentations and use Gotomeeting to conduct webinars
- Experience with social media marketing products like Facebook and Constant Contact
- Communication skills
- Consulting/Counseling Techniques
- Proven experience using Excel, Word & PowerPoint to build presentations
- Comfortable speaking in front of a group and facilitating discussions.
