Take college courses in high school! The Early College Waiver waives tuition, the media fee, and course fees for classes taken at Northland Pioneer College.
Criteria
Expectations
- Must be a current high school student (if younger than 14, must complete Request to Enroll form with their NPC advisor)
- Students must not be 19 at the beginning of the semester they want to enroll in, unless they are enrolled in high school
- Students who are not enrolled in high school but are pursuing a GED must be between 14 and 18 years old
- Students who have completed a high school diploma, GED, or Associate's Degree are not eligible for this waiver
- Must meet placement requirements per the current year's Placement Handbook.
- If eligible, homeschool students must use their Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA)
- Students are responsible for the cost of textbooks if any (See npc.ecampus.com )

- Submit a new student application. (You will need your school SAIS ID)
- Meet with an Early College Advisor to review course placement and to sign up for the scholarship*
