Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree.
- Higher Education professional experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED and 2 years’ basic administrative support experience.
- Understanding of confidential work environment.
Responsibilities
- Enters and updates employee data, verifies data input and retrieves basic report information including E-Verify, New Hire Reporting, Jenzabar / HR, I-9’s, and EEOC reporting
- Participates / Supports recruiting and applicant tracking process.
- Maintains and organizes files, forms, records and documents; reviews documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Completes paperwork and provides routine assistance in the completion of forms for various personnel actions or programs.
- Responds to general inquiries and provides referral to appropriate resource for specific requests or policy related questions.
- Provides general clerical assistance and office support related to Human Resource programs, processes and procedures.
- Performs basic mathematical calculations and verifies totals.
- Maintains confidential storage of records; prepares records for storage or destruction according to established procedures.
- Adheres to applicable policies and procedures.
- Greets visitors; receives and refers calls; takes and relays messages.
- Maintains College contact and phone lists.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills Required
Excellent written and oral communication and customer service skills. Competent with Windows, Word, and Excel; the ability to learn new software skills.
