Northland Pioneer College's Community Connections Subcommittee invites the community to join in a special screening series of People of the West, a powerful ten-part documentary that explores California's history through the voices and perspectives of Indigenous peoples.
Through compelling storytelling, historical accounts, and cinematic reenactments, People of the West explores more than 500 years of history, highlighting the resilience, cultural traditions, struggles, and contributions of Native communities. The series challenges traditional narratives of the American West while celebrating the strength and enduring legacy of Indigenous peoples.
Everyone is welcome, and there is no cost to attend!
Join Us for Five Special Screening Evenings
Each evening will feature two episodes of the series. Attend one screening or join us for all five! Light refreshments will be provided at featured locations throughout the series.
All screenings take place from 5 to 7 p.m. MST
