Heather Spontak is a ceramic artist who lives and works near Bisbee, Arizona. The surfaces on Heather's pottery forms are inspired by the subtleties of daily life that are often overlooked. She is constantly intrigued by shadows from plants, weather patterns and the shapes between objects, which she records on her pottery with a layered combination of various ceramic techniques.
