DEADLINE for NPC Friends & Family Martia & Louis Smith Memorial Scholarship
Applicants need NOT be art majors!
This is a Northland Pioneer College scholarship for the 2026-2027 school year, in the amount of $1,500.00 per semester; $3,000.00 per academic year. Martia A. Smith was an artist and scholar who served as an instructor and major contributor to NPC’s art program. Her husband, Louis Smith, established this scholarship, which honors her memory each year by awarding a full scholarship to a highly motivated, academically and artistically talented student. Louis Smith passed away December 12, 2020. His name was added to the scholarship, an homage to all.
