NPC's Summer Storytelling Festival is an immersive, mobile event series designed to celebrate the art and cultural tradition of storytelling while promoting literacy and creativity among K–12 students in rural and underserved communities within NPC’s service area. The festival will feature a restored vintage camper transformed into a whimsical storytelling hub, live performances by local storytellers and authors, interactive workshops, creative reading zones, and book giveaways. The event series is a partnership between Northland Pioneer College, Tickled Pink Flamingos Retreat Center, and Forest City Publications, aligning with NPC’s mission to be a hub for arts education and community collaboration.
