This scholarship was established by the White Mountain Firefighters Association in honor of Valeree Redihead Claude, who passed away while on duty at Pinetop Fire Station #12 on June 24, 2005. It was renamed to honor all White Mountain Fallen Firefighters in Spring of 2026. This award covers the full cost of tuition, books, and fees for either Firefighter I & II, Hazardous Materials for First Responders, or EMT-Basic. Single-semester award.
