- Must have completed at least two semesters with demonstrated success of at least a 2.5 GPA.
- Must be a degree-seeking student in AAEC or AAS in Early Childhood Studies.
- This is not a need-based scholarship.
(Must be in good academic standing with NPC: not in overpayment status.) - You are not eligible if you are currently in high school or have already obtained a Bachelor's degree.
- Submit a letter of interest for this scholarship, describing your interest, experience, and future plans in the field of Early Childhood.
- Submit an unofficial transcript. (available on MyNPC)
- Submit your current Education Plan/Program Map (see the Associate Dean for Educator Preparation, the Early Childhood Practicum Supervisor, or Educator Preparation Programs Academic Advisor.
The Early Childhood Development Scholarship will provide tuition payment for students pursuing an AAEC or AAS in Early Childhood Studies. *Upon HLC approval, the scholarship will also support the BAS in Early Childhood Education. This scholarship is designed to cover tuition, fees, textbooks, or other technology costs for required courses needed to successfully complete the chosen degree.
