NPC Privacy and Text Message Terms and Conditions
These NPC Text Message Terms and Conditions ("Text Message Terms") are between you and Northland Pioneer College, its past, present, or future governing bodies, affiliates, predecessors, successors, and their respective agents, employees, officers, and representatives (collectively, "NPC," "we," or "us"), with a principal campus located in Holbrook, Arizona, 86025. These Text Message Terms serve as a written agreement and govern your participation in NPC’s Text Message Program, which includes sending text messages to NPC and/or receiving text messages from NPC.
BY PROVIDING EXPRESS CONSENT AT THE TIME OF ENROLLMENT IN NPC’S TEXT MESSAGE PROGRAM, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TEXT MESSAGE TERMS.
NPC’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Use are incorporated by reference and also apply to your participation in NPC’s Text Message Program. By participating, you confirm that you have reviewed and agree to those policies.
Arbitration and Legal Terms
BY CONSENTING TO NPC’S TERMS OF USE, YOU AGREE TO ARBITRATE ALL CLAIMS BETWEEN YOU AND NORTHLAND PIONEER COLLEGE ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS ONLY, AND NOT AS PART OF ANY CLASS ACTION.
By agreeing to arbitration, you waive your right to pursue claims in court, including the right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit.
A "Claim" includes any dispute, lawsuit, or legal action between you and NPC, including but not limited to statutory violations or interpretations of these Text Message Terms. Arbitration will be conducted in Arizona under the current rules of the American Arbitration Association, unless those rules conflict with these terms. You waive the right to a trial by jury or participation in class action suits. This clause is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act and will remain in effect even if your participation in the program ends.
About the Text Message Program
NPC’s Text Message Program is designed to assist users in staying connected with Northland Pioneer College through SMS communications. By opting in, you agree to receive recurring text messages from NPC regarding college news, enrollment, financial aid, deadlines, and other important academic or service announcements.
Consent to Receive Messages
Your express written consent is required to participate. This consent may be obtained electronically (such as through a web form or online enrollment system, per the E-SIGN Act). Continued participation (e.g., not replying STOP) confirms ongoing consent to receive messages under these terms.
By enrolling, you confirm you are the authorized user of the mobile number provided or have permission from the authorized user to enroll and receive messages. NPC will not send marketing content without appropriate prior consent, in compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
Message Costs
NPC does not charge you to receive its messages. However, Message and Data Rates May Apply depending on your mobile plan and carrier.
NOTE: NPC is not responsible for any charges from your wireless provider as a result of participating in this program. Please check with your mobile carrier for details about your plan and any associated costs.
Stopping Text Messages
You may opt out of NPC text messages at any time by replying STOP to the number from which the message originated. You will receive a final confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent to that number. Please allow up to 3 business days for full processing. Note that STOP requests apply only to the specific phone number used.
Opting Back In
If you previously opted out and wish to rejoin the Text Message Program, you must provide new express written consent to NPC.
Getting Help
To receive additional information, text HELP to the same short code or number from which you received the NPC message. You’ll receive a reply with more details about the Text Message Program and how to reach us.

Supported Carriers
NPC’s Text Message Program is supported by most major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile®, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost Mobile, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Cricket, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages

All the above categories exclude text messaging origination opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
