$1000 toward tuition, books and fees is awarded for the academic year; $500 for the fall semester with spring-semester award based on continued satisfactory academic progress.
Who is eligible to apply?
A Round Valley High School graduate (Class of 2024 or 2025) who is planning to attend NPC full-time.
- Degree-seeking at NPC. Student must be seeking a degree, per degree plan on file.
- Demonstrate financial need. Need is considered for the scholarship.
- Enrolled for 12 or more credits during the semesters of award.
- Cumulative Grade-Point Average of 2.0 or better on a 4.0 scale.
- Not in default of a student loan and not in overpayment status.
How do you apply?

Attach all application documents as a SINGLE PDF FILE, and email to NPCFF@npc.edu
- 1. NPCFriends and Family Scholarship Cover Letter Form (must be completed, signed, and dated)
- 2. Essay – 500 words or fewer – Describing:
- What are your career goals;
- What are your educational goals;
- What resources do you have to fund your education, making you qualified to receive this scholarship;
- Why the scholarship is needed, and how it will be used.

The key to the scholarship essay is that it is a personal narrative, reflecting your experiences and goals. DO NOT USE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TOOLS, SUCH AS CHAT GPT, to write your essay. It is important that your personal voice come through!
- 3. Demonstration of financial status for the 2025-2026 academic year as evidenced by Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Submission Summary (FSS) PAGE 1 ONLY or letter of award or denial from NPC Financial Aid Office or MyNPC page.
- 4. Your unofficial transcript from https://mynpc.npc.edu/ics indicating your degree intent; students without an NPC transcript must submit a degree plan (see academic advisor).
APPLICATION DEADLINE: Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. MST., for funding for the FALL 2025/ SPRING 2026 semester.
Applications received after this date/time will not be accepted, regardless of why they are late. You are STRONGLY advised to submit your application well in advance of the deadline date!
