Initial salary range of $12.48 to $15.00 per hour depending on education and experience.

Center Manager
Valid Arizona driver's license
- Knowledge of academic programs, financial aid eligibility requirements, employment prospects for various academic disciplines and recruiting practices.
- Demonstrated ability to use current office technologies such as word processing, spreadsheet applications, email, calendar applications, etc.
- Associate degree and two years related experience
- Reliable transportation.
Adviser:
- Assists and provides direction to students concerning academic endeavors such as registration, course selection, scholarships, financial aid, graduation and career goals.
- Assists Center Manager to ensure the registration process operates smoothly.
- Assists in the training of temporary and registration assistants.
- Monitors the tutoring program, assuring completion and distribution of necessary forms.
- Refers and distributes information concerning students requiring special needs.
- Participates in student recruiting programs and activities.
- Performs duties for placement testing as required.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
Library Media:
- Provides all library functions using library procedures.
- Trains assistants whether temporary or work/study.
- Conducts patron reference interviews.
- Shelves returned materials.
- Assists students and patrons in locating and selecting materials.
- Assists with the use of audio-visual equipment for telecommunication classes.
- Delivers class materials for telecommunication classes.
- Monitors tests for NPC instructors and non-NPC students.
- Assists customers with locating information, including electronic resources.
- Provides orientation or instructional sessions for students and faculty.
- Distributes student material for telecommunication classes.
- Schedules audio-visual equipment and maintains inventory list.
- Assists customers in the use of computers.
- Maintains computer inventory list.
- Maintains a physical environment that is conducive to a positive learning environment.
- Prepares or provides for the preparation of statistical and other reports regarding library operations and use.
Clerical:
- Assists the Center Manager in day-to-day operation of the center.
- Assists with scheduling of classes.
- Sorts and distributes mail.
- Orders merchandise from the bookstore.
- Collects and accounts for monies received, prepares receipts for payments and prepares funds for deposit.
- Meets and greets the public, including assisting students and prospective students.
- Takes phone calls, answers questions, takes messages.
- Provides information to students, faculty and community.
- Creates and maintains center files, manual and automated.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications; basic bookkeeping; basic office equipment and sound oral and written communication skills especially as it relates to the interpretation of policies and procedures. Management and/or supervisory skills. Ability to interact effectively and positively with students, staff and public. Ability to work in a diverse, multi-cultural environment. Ability to read and comprehend the English language sufficiently in order to understand and create written and verbal information.
