- Coordinate Silver Creek facility activities and schedules use of facilities.
- Communicate with faculty to address student, classroom, and material needs.
- Follow up on facility concerns identified by students, faculty, and community members.
- Assign classrooms for scheduled courses each semester.
- Assign rooms for meetings and events as needed, including coordination of physical arrangements.
- Oversee control of facility key use; HVAC and lighting schedule.
- Locate and schedule off-campus classrooms and facilities as needed.
- Supervise operational requirements, including temporary employees and custodial staff.
- Coordinate the distribution of incoming and outgoing mail.
- Maintains and orders office and custodial supplies as needed
- Coordinate transportation needs and schedule vehicles for faculty, staff and students.
- Ensure vehicles are maintained and vehicle usage is reported.
- Assist with computer related facility needs; coordinate computer support with Information Services.
- Request maintenance and repair of facilities, including inside and outside lighting.
- Coordinate opening and closing of classrooms and buildings as scheduled.
- Assist public, including students and community members.
- Facilitate advising and registration processes.
- Act as liaison for students, staff and the public with other college departments; make referrals as necessary.
- Prepare class lists and assists with student notifications as needed.
- Attend campus-wide meetings and serve on task force and committees as assigned.
- Engage and participate in community meetings as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Proficiency in computerized word processing, spreadsheet applications and use of office equipment. Sound oral and written communication skills especially as it relates to the interpretation of the registration and business processes. Ability to interact effectively and positively with students, staff and public. Must be CPR/First Aid Certified or complete certification within 12 months of date of hire.
