I Chose NPC Because: of all the overwhelmingly positive recommendations I received. When I first moved to Winslow, I was looking at different nursing schools in Arizona. After meeting and talking to CNAs and Nurses that worked at the hospital with my wife, they all said the same thing: “Go to NPC, it’s the greatest nursing college in Arizona." I spoke to people who were from all over the state, and if they came all the way to Winslow for college, NPC had to be good.
NPC is Preparing Me: with the skills, knowledge and experiences I will need to be a successful nursing student and hopefully one day, a great nurse.
I Love to: Travel. My wife and I have been all over, and we always enjoy seeing the new and exciting things the world has to offer.
I’m Great at: raising my kids and being a great husband. Not to brag – but I’m also great at going out to eat.
If I Could Change the World, I’d: Invent a building material to replace wood that would be extremely cheap to make and buy, biodegradable, stronger than steel and light weight. Then people all over the world could have a home that’s safe, affordable and environmentally friendly.
Hobbies: Going to the gym, taking my kids to the park, watching football and basketball, spending time with family and friends and... eating.
Favorite Snack: It’s not much of a snack, but – pepperoni pizza.
Must Have Gadget: The latest Samsung phone, I really enjoy using it.
Person I’d Like to Meet: again is my Grandma Tirza, she passed away before I could tell her how important she was to me. I'd like to tell her I love her again.
Favorite NPC Instructor’s Quote: Professor Eleanore Hempsey, “We are almost done!”
Best Advice I’ve Received: My mom has always been, and is still the hardest working person I know. She told me “nothing worth having comes easy.”
Music I am Currently Listening to: country music. It has more meaning to me and often has life lessons involved.
One Thing I Love Most About NPC: is their great campuses. They are always clean and inviting and the instructors are knowledgeable, caring and will do almost anything to help you succeed. You also can’t beat the cost, tuition rates are low, but the education quality is very high.
How NPC Transformed My Life: by making me want to be a better student. My mentality before attending NPC was procrastination and completing the bare minimum. Now, I want to study, get good grades and do the best that I can.
