I Chose NPC Because: It was the perfect place to step back into the educational setting, it’s close to home and super affordable.
NPC Is Preparing Me To: Transfer to the University of Arizona to complete my degree in Family Studies and Human Development with a minor in Nutrition.
I Love To: Spend time with my children, take care of our livestock, bake and cook ( I’m a huge foodie), crochet, knit, examine historical fashion and travel.
I’m Great At: Listening and making people feel comfortable. Animals also love me. My license plate should read, “Ma Doolittle”!
If I Could Change the World I’d: Help people see their worth and their abilities.
Hobbies: Binge watching Downton Abbey, gardening, spending time at livestock shows, baking, crochet, knitting and Disneyland.
Favorite Snack: Cereal, scones, ice cream, chips with salsa and also... Nutter Butter cookies.
Must Have Gadget: A really good whisk and a Kitchen Aid mixer.
Person I’d Like to Meet: My Grandpa Pete, who died right after I was born.
Favorite NPC Instructor’s Quote: “Pardon me while I blather on.” – Andrew Hassard
Best Advice I’ve Received: From my dad, “proper prior planning prevents piss poor performance.” – Butch Dies: Dies’ Seven P’s
Music I Am Currently Listening To: Lots of stuff! Currently I’m in love with music from the late 1920’s and 1930’s.
One Thing I Love Most About NPC: My instructors are great and the class sizes are conducive to good discussions.
