Northland Pioneer College partnered with The House Show Low restaurant to help raise funds for student scholarships. A popular place to eat, The House Show Low offered the tasty “NPC Smart Burger” on their menu for a week and donated a portion of the proceeds to NPC Friends & Family, a nonprofit organization that raises college scholarship funds. The donation will be added to others to help support NPC Friends & Family fundraising efforts on the upcoming Arizona Gives Day, April 2, 2019.
Executive Director of NPC Friends & Family, Betsyann Wilson said, “These are the best type of community partnerships, where the business benefits because we encourage students and community members to visit the restaurant and NPC students win with more money for scholarships! We are looking forward to partnering with many other businesses throughout the NPC service area in the future based on the success we’ve had with this one.” Chris Corbin, Co-owner of The House Show Low agrees and said, “We are very pleased to be able to support our local college and give back to our community.”
One hundred percent of the donations made to NPC Friends & Family goes toward student scholarships which help transform local student’s lives. If you would like to make a real difference in student’s lives, consider making a donation, of any size, to NPC Friends & Family on Arizona Gives Day, Tuesday, April 2, at www.azgives.org/npcfriendsfamily.
