This required class is FREE! The College Success Strategies course (STU 098x) has one, in-person session, then students complete the remainder of the course online at their own pace before registration begins for the following semester. This course will help you learn how to access various NPC resources, guidance, and support from faculty, staff, and peers to help develop their academic and life skills.
Emphasis is placed on increasing student success through personal growth, study skills development, and educational planning. Topics studied promote learning, understanding, critical thinking skills and perseverance in college.
- Current students who fail to complete this course before the end of the current semester will have a HOLD placed on their account that will block them from future registration.
- Students enrolling ONLY in noncredit or online classes are EXEMPT from having to take the College Success Strategies course.
