NPC Scholarship Notice

Early Childhood Development Scholarship
Spring Semester 2008

The Early Childhood Development (ECD) Program will provide scholarships for students pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Development.

Who is eligible?

ECD Scholarship is available to NPC students continuing their education in Early Childhood Development (ECD).

Criteria:

• ECD student who is not eligible for Federal Financial Aid or other scholarships.
• Must be enrolled for 9 or more credits at NPC.
• Must maintain a cumulative 2.5 GPA and successfully completed prior NPC credits.
• Must be in good academic standing and have no financial hold on your student account.
• Students who have previously obtained a bachelor's degree or are currently in high school are not eligible to apply.

How Do I Apply?

• Submit a "letter of interest" (describing why you would be the best candidate, why you should receive this scholarship, list educational and career goals, etc.) to the NPC Financial Aid Office.
• Submit two letters of recommendation.

Required:

• Recommend ECD student or complete the 2007-2008 Free Application for Federal Student Aid..
• Submit 2007-2008 NPC Financial Aid Information Sheet (form available as a PDF)
• Submit NPC degree plan/audit (see an NPC Academic Advisor)

DEADLINE:     Open until applicant is selected.
