Financial Aid: Refund Check Disbursement

All financial aid refund checks are mailed. There are no exceptions.

It is the financial aid student’s responsibility to contact the Financial Aid Office when he/she has a change to their class schedule.

• If during the semester NPC cancels a course you have been awarded for – You should add another course for the same number of credit hours to avoid any financial aid overpayment charges.

• If you drop courses you have been awarded for before the first day of class – You should add another course for the same number of credit hours or contact the Financial Aid Office to reduce your award to avoid any financial aid overpayment charges.

• If you received a “Financial Aid Refund Check” and dropped all the courses you enrolled for you should contact the Financial Aid Office immediately or you should contact the Financial Aid Office before you drop your courses to avoid any financial aid overpayment charges.

The above information was provided in the “Award Letter Information Brochure” mailed to each financial aid student with their award letter.
