Two Students
Northland Pioneer College recognizes that its students come from a multitude of backgrounds and variety of educational experiences. Many students enroll, fresh from successful high school careers, eager and well-prepared to continue on with their education.Yet others may be returning to the classroom after an absence of years, and have anxieties about their ability to learn and keep up with the demands of school. Still other students realize they did not perform well in earlier attempts at schooling, and now desire an opportunity to re-learn the skills that will help them overcome this loss and move forward to better jobs, better lives. And there are those who are hesitant about enrolling in any educational setting, adults rich with life experience, but with little or no formal education, sometimes not even the ability to read.

NPC wants all of its students, no matter educational backgrounds and learning histories, to succeed. To this end the college offers significant assistance to help students do just that. In addition to the two links in the left navigation bar, Tutoring and The Learning Cornerstone, are two other services that will assist you in your quest for a rewarding college career at NPC. Academic Advising can explain our placement process and help you select courses just right for your goals and needs. The Disability Resource & Access office is of invaluable assistance for those with special needs and requirements for learning.

No matter your background or educational needs, NPC is here to help you achieve your educational goals, because your success is our goal.
