
The Paramedicine (EMT) program educates students in EMT Basics up to the level of Paramedic under the regulations of the Arizona Department of Health Services (DHS) and with the cooperation of local, state and private medical institutions and emergency medical services agencies. The program utilizes the most recent standards of the National Association of
EMS Educators.
Students may obtain three levels of education in Paramedicine:
- Associate of Science degree (AAS) • 70 credits
- Certificate of Applied Science (CAS) • 58 credits
- Certificate of Proficiency (CP) • 52 credits
NPC also offers a Advanced Life Support (ALS) Refresher for licensed Paramedics who need to renew their national and state certifications, as well as advanced studies in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
