
The focus of Human Services (HUS) is the Residential Child/Youth Care Assistant program. This degree is designed for individuals working with children in residential settings such as boarding schools, dormitories or group homes. Courses leading to the program degree are combined from several disciplines.
- There is also an additional certificate available in Human Services – Substance Abuse Counseling.
Here are the three offerings in the Human Services (HUS) program:
- Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Residential Child/Youth
Care Assistant • 64 credits - Certificate of Applied Science (CAS) in Residential Child/Youth
Care Assistant (CAS) • 36 credits - Certficate of Proficiency (CP) • 15 or 19 credits depending on
selected area of study
