Computer Information Systems (CIS)

The Computer Information Systems program provides students with knowledge and skills in the areas of computer programming languages, graphics in multimedia, database management and information systems. Graduates are needed by business, industry, government, public and private agencies and small business enterprises.

Three levels of education are available through the Computer Information Systems (CIS) program: 

  1. The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) 64 - 65 credits
  2. The Certificate of Applied Science (CAS) 34 - 37 credits
  3. The Certificate of Proficiency (CP) 9, 12, 16 or 31 credits
          depending on area of concentration
