NPC has recently expanded and upgraded its Automotive Technology program including a large, new, state-of-the-art “classroom” facility. The program is based on industry competency requirements of two
national agencies:
- National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)
- National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF)
NPC's program is geared for both those who want a career in the automotive repair industry AND for those who already work in the field and want to upgrade specific skills. Our program features a combination of self-guided, computer-aided instruction, guided instruction and hands-on laboratory learning. Students perform numerous repairs on a combination of training modules and practice live vehicles. All repairs and tasks follow ASE guidelines that prepare students to become ASE certified in eight areas of repair.
