'Quilt 'Til You Wilt' workshop

SHOW LOW — Create a “raggy style” baby-size or lap quilt as a gift for someone special in a Quilt ‘Til You Wilt noncredit workshop at Northland Pioneer College’s Show Low – White Mountain Campus, 1001 W. Deuce of Clubs, in Aspen Center, room 110, on Tuesday evenings, 5:30 to 7:30, February 6 through 27. There is a $35 fee for the class.

Instructor Marjorie Stockton will show you the basics of measuring, cutting, designing, selecting colors and construction of the flannel “raggy style” baby or lap quilt. The finished quilt will be approximately 35” x 49” in size. Traditional quilting techniques will also be explained. Students should bring a sewing machine, general sewing supplies, 3 yards of fabric, a rotary cutter and cutting board.

Sign up for the Quilt 'Til You Wilt workshop (reference HCT 099x-07) at least three days before the class starts to ensure it is not canceled due to insufficient enrollment. Register at any NPC location during regular business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, or 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Fridays.
