Slow-flow Vinyasa Yoga

Learn to combine breathing, flowing postures and meditation designed to unite mind, body and spirit in “Slow Flow Vinyasa Yoga” noncredit classes at Northland Pioneer College’s Show Low – White Mountain Campus, 1001 W. Deuce of Clubs, on Wednesday evenings, August 22 through December 5, 4 to 5 p.m., in the Aspen Center, room 110.

The cost is $85 (reference HPE 099x). There will not be class on October 3 and 10 or November 21.

Students should bring yoga blocks, trap or tie, a blanket or pillow.

Certified registered yoga instructor Sheri Ramirez has over 500 hours of training with an emphasis in yoga therapy. She has been practicing yoga for 11 years and teaching classes for five. She teaches the Vinyasa flow and Ashtanga style, focusing on linking breath and movement in order to promote a deep mind-body connection. “With patience and compassion, anybody can practice and receive the tremendous healing benefits of yoga,” Ramirez noted.

Register for the Slow-Flow Vinyasa Yoga class at least four days before the class starts to ensure it is not canceled due to insufficient enrollment.
