Formal
Sessions for Classes
-
Help your students know their way around the information
maze.
-
Start the information literacy process with a tour and
description of materials and services.
-
The session will be more meaningful to your students if
there is time for faculty consultation with library staff
and an explanation of assignments
-
Notice is required in advance so that staff is available.
-
Use the Faculty Request for Orientation Tours &
Instructional Sessions. This will
give you an idea of options within the orientation session.
Currently the library is offering
5 options.
-
Obtain the Request form
online, print, and deliver to the library OR call the
library.
Please give library staff 5 days to plan the event and
arrange for staff scheduling.
Informal
Sessions for Students
-
Students can always ask library staff for assistance.
-
Frequently staff is busy and cannot devote 45-60 minutes to
one student though.
