College and Area Information: Northland Pioneer College is located at the doorstep of the American Southwest where the high desert meets the White Mountains of northeastern Arizona. Northland Pioneer College offers classes at four campuses and six centers across northeastern Arizona which includes the areas encompassed by three Native American tribes. Organizational Relationship: Reports to the I.S. Department Manager.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor and record video/audio feed through the various ITV systems and video and audio equipment; follow all Copyright laws, restrictions, and NPC procedures regarding all copies and duplications; and prepare for the completion of these dutiees prior to scheduled classes and meetings.
• Provide consistent and quality customer service through telephone, email and in person for all NPC users (students, staff, faculty and administration).
• Perform schedule maintenance on audio/video systems for all NPC locations; ensure the highest level of quality of these systems possible; and continuously assess status of audio/video systems throughout the year.
• Remotely support faculty, staff, students and administration.
• Troubleshoot, install (pulling cable, classroom setup), repair, and test equipment; and perform software and hardware updates for all NPC video and audio distance learning sites.
• Assist faculty and staff in using and developing technological resources for their distance learning and other classes.
• Assist telephone, network and cmputer technicians as needed by providing requested feedback and facilitating any troubleshooting/testing needed in classrooms.
• Complete special projects as they arise.
• Perform other duties that are related to the Support Center and/or Information Services as assigned.
• Requisite Abilities:
• Demonstrated skill and proficiency in the operation of video and audio equipment.
• Demonstrated gneral knowledge of the workings of video, audio, and computer networks.
• Good communication skills, energetic and motivated.
• Must have the ability to:
• Work nights and weekends.
• Learn quickly and follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Assume responsibility and work independently as well as in teams.
• Exercise appropriate privacy and discretion in handling confidential information.

Compensation: Initial salary range is $22,547 to $28,204 depending on experience and education.
