Northland Pioneer College is located at the doorstep of the American Southwest where the high desert meets the White Mountains of northeastern Arizona. Show Low – White Mountain Campus

Clinical Nursing and Allied Health Coordinator – Full Time Position

Arizona RN licensure with an MSN/MN and at least 2 years clinical experience. Teach second year nursing student clinical experience (8 hours per week; Wednesday 1p – 9p) at Summit Regional Medical Center and a preparatory skill/simulated laboratory (4 hours per week; Thursday 9a – 1p). Teach additional allied health courses to meet load requirements. Experience in L&D, OB, Psychiatry, and Critical Care necessary.

Phlebotomy – Thursdays 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A minimum of two years phlebotomy experience. Academic degree preferred. Phlebotomy expertise, teaching ability, and excellent communication skills.

HES 145 Nutrition – Teach Health Related Occupation NAVIT Students 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. Fridays

Graduate degree in chemistry, nursing, or dietetics preferred. Registered Dietician preferred.

Medical Assistant

B.A./B.S. degree in nursing or allied health field preferred. One year’s experience teaching health-related courses preferred. Minimum of two years related occupational experience within the past five years in the practice or supervision of direct patient care. Demonstrated experience coordinating and providing services to individuals with barriers to employment in an employment, training, and/or vocational education setting.

Health Education Sciences

Instructors needed to teach Medical Terminology course and Careers in Healthcare courses to Medical Assistant and Health-Related Vocational students during the Spring 2009 semesters.

Winslow – Little Colorado Campus

HES 145 Nutrition – Teach Health Related Occupation NAVIT Students 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. Fridays

Graduate degree in chemistry, nursing, or dietetics preferred. Registered Dietician preferred.

Nursing Assistant Training NAVIT Instructor

Arizona RN licensure in good standing with one year of experience teaching adults, or supervising nursing assistants, or credit for a course on teaching adults. Long-term care experience preferred. Teach nursing assistant students 3 lecture hours and 6 lab/clinical hours per week 8a – 11a in area long term care facility.

Pharmacy Technician Instructor

Pharmacist or PTCB certified or will become certified prior to hiring. Minimum of three years related occupational experience within the past five years as a pharmacy technician.

Health Education Sciences
