For Online Classes – Read These Important Facts |
| 1. ALL coursework must be completed within the actual semester. |
| 2. Students can enroll in Internet courses up to one week after the first day of classes, if the class is not at maximum capacity. |
| 3. Registering after the first day of the semester, August 22, 2011, may be charged a $25 Late Registration Fee. |
| 4. After the first week of class, instructor approval is required before a student may enroll in an Internet course. Exception: "open entry" courses. Open entry courses can be started at any time with in the semester. Open entry courses are indicated by a ◆ symbol. |
| 5. You must satisfy any class prerequisites listed in the course description to enroll in that course. |
| 6. Some online classes may charged an additional fee for use of electronic textbook materials. This fee will be charged upon initial login to the course. |
| 7. All students enrolled in 3 or more credits will be charged a $35 Media Fee per semester. See tuition and fees. |
| 8. To begin an online course AFTER registering, YOU must send the instructor an e-mail. The instructor will NOT contact you first! Instructions will be sent back on how to access the course. Some instructors may require you to use your NPC email account for class communication. |
| 9. STUDENTS who have earned 32 or more credits must declare a degree/major before registering. Find out more. |
