Professor Connie Warren joined the Northland Pioneer College full-time faculty in 2013, after serving for several years as an adjunct instructor.
She is responsible for oversight and curriculum development for all NPC allied health programs, including Medical Assistant, Direct Care Worker, Phlebotomy and Pharmacy Technician. She is actively involved in NPC's Student Retention Project – P.A.S.S. – and frequently teaches the Student Orientation (S.O.A.R.).
She has been a Special Education instructor; elementary (K-8) teacher; director of various Home Care Agencies; a hospital nursing administrator; critical care R.N.; and owned her own retail business for 13 years.
A private pilot, Professor Warren enjoys travel, gardening, golf and writing and publishing poetry. She has twice been named Rotarian of the Quarter; and Outstanding Rotarian of the Year. Connie served on a special drug task force as part of former First Lady Nancy Regan's "Just Say 'No!'" program in Florida and was honored for her outstanding community service.
She is a member of the National Nursing League, Phi Theta Kappa and Rotary and previously served on the board of governors for the National Arthritis Foundation for the San Diego and Waikiki chapters. She is also a former member of the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Department Volunteer Deputy Posse.
