About Amber

Amberlyn Gentry was one of two doctoral students selected to participate in a healthcare policy summit in Washington, D.C., in March 2016. She is currently working on her doctorate in Nursing Practice through Boise State University.

"My nursing experience is primarily in women's health, including inpatient obstetric care and outpatient care." She is also a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator.

Professor Gentry is a member of Epsilon Omega Epsilon (EOE), Lamaze International, and the National League of Nursing. The mother of five enjoys scrapbooking, cardmaking and photography, but is concentrating on her DNP studies.
