"Balance and movement, fragility, warmth, and structure. As an artist, I seek to create objects that flow with movement in their standing still. Each is a moment captured in a greater dilemma, and each one expresses its material with a reserved sense of drama."

Heather Couch is a full-time ceramics instructor at Mesa High School, as well as adjunct faculty at Phoenix College. Her ceramic sculpture has been exhibited both nationally and internationally.

Hours: Mon – Thurs: 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Fri: 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

All exhibitions and receptions are free and open to the public.

The art gallery is located in the Aspen Center on the Northland Pioneer College campus in Show Low and stages a variety of visual arts exhibitions throughout the year. Shows feature work from area high school students, NPC students and local artists.
