BUS 140 Principles of Economics--Macro
Presentation of economic theory and important contemporary economic issues. Topics include
the laws of supply and demand, national income accounting, monetary and fiscal policies, and
the theory of international trade. Can be used to fulfill social and behavioral sciences
requirement for Associate degree at NPC. This course transfers to University of Arizona as
ECON 201B, to Northern Arizona University as ECO 285, and to Arizona State University as
ECN 111. Prerequisite: Satisfactory placement. 3 credits.
