Certificate of Proficiency (CP)

The Certificate of Proficiency (CP) provides students with highly focused skills training or re-training in NPC occupational programs. By earning the CP you often can move toward testing and certification from national agencies in your field of choice. The certificate is a demonstration of learned skills in specific job areas when seeking employment in your career field.

Requirements for the Certificate of Proficiency vary by program and only those programs where the CP totals 32 or more credit hours are recognized at commencement. However, all earned Certificates of Proficiency are noted on the student's transcript.
