Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Business or Public Administration or related field.
  2. Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
  3. Three years of project management, supervisory and budgetary experience.
  4. A working knowledge of the capabilities of programming and database systems.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, energetic and motivated.
  6. Three years of training development and delivery to adult learners.
  7. Experience with data reporting tools and analyzing data.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Business or Public Administration or related field.
  2. A working knowledge of Jenzabar CX, JICS and basic report generation.
  3. Knowledge of contemporary concepts and practices in the information systems operation of an institution of higher education.
  4. Three years of experience in process development in higher education, government or nonprofit institutions.

Responsibilities

  1. Supervises and supports staff in the Administrative Systems Support division.
  2. Prioritize support requests for the Administrative Systems Support department.
  3. Makes recommendations to the Chief Information Officer for improvements to future system and service offerings.
  4. Monitor and maintain the IS department budget, including tracking expenditures, monitoring budget performance, and reporting budget performance.
  5. Serve as project manager for Information Services projects as assigned and Process Improvement.
  6. Provides as an initial point of contact and coordinates external organizations and individuals, including vendors, partners, and others related to the Department.
  7. Collaborate with organizational units to develop effective systems use in relation to business rules and processes.
  8. Facilitate the change management processes.
  9. Organize and/or coordinate trainings and presentations to various audience types as directed by the Chief Information Officer.
  10. Write, update, and distribute process documentation.
  11. Other duties as assigned.

Compensation

Initial salary range of $45,330 to $57,115 depending on education and experience.
