AGRICULTURE
The Agriculture program, with areas of specialization in
General Agriculture and Turfgrass Management, trains
graduates to become skilled personnel within Agribusiness, Landscaping,
Nursery, and Golf Course industries. Students receive training in
turfgrass science, horticulture and animal science. Local
career opportunities exist in all Northland district communities.

To complete an Associate of Applied Science degree in
Agriculture a student must complete the general education requirements (16
cr.), an area of specialization (29 or 36 cr.) and complete 19 or 12 credits of
required electives, as appropriate, from the list that follows the AAS
description.
