For thirty years now, Northland Pioneer College has delivered services to nearly every community in Navajo and Apache counties. Each year, 12 to 13,000 people take classes from NPC. Given that the College's 21,000 square mile service area is larger than the State of New Jersey, this degree of access to educational services is remarkable.
And the reliance of northeast Arizona residents on their community college continues to grow, with enrollment increasing over 30% during the past three years. Each year more and more people attend Northland to upgrade credentials for work, prepare to transfer to university programs, and develop new skills. Some even take courses to enjoy the stimulation that comes with adult learning!
Wherever you are in northeast Arizona, NPC is nearby. Northland brings services to over 150 different locations, including many health facilities, businesses, industries, agencies and schools.
Almost that many partnership programs assist community employers to develop a better-trained workforce for today, and tomorrow.
What does this mean to you? Simply that Northland Pioneer College is expanding in size, diversity, quality and vitality. In doing so, it provides the services you need now – and will expect to need in the future. Community colleges help build communities by empowering people to change their lives – and communities– for the better.
This is your community, and Northland Pioneer College is your community college.
