Performing Arts Center

PAC

The Performing Arts Center (PAC) is located on the Silver Creek Campus in Snowflake. It is home to music, theatre, and dance classes for students, dinner theatre performances, music concerts and other entertainment offerings for all community members. The PAC opened in 2003, and features a flexible black box performance space which can be configured in a variety of seating arrangements including proscenium, thrust, and arena. The space typically seats up to 300 patrons. The building also features an intimate Drama Lab performance space which seats 50 audience members.

Auditions and Helpful Information

Auditions are held at the beginning of the Fall and Spring semesters at NPC. Students who are cast in acting or technical support positions enroll in Play Production I or II (SPT 200 or 201).

  • On tap for Spring 2009, is a traveling Reader's Theatre production to area schools and a production of Shakespeare's Measure For Measure.
  • Auditions for Measure For Measure will be Tuesday, January 13th and Thursday, January 15th from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the Snowflake/Taylor, Silver Creek Campus in the Performing Arts Center.
  • Also, be on the look-out for our fourth annual Children's Theatre Project in May/June 2009.

Chorale

The Northland Master Chorale (under the direction of Julie Holtan) collaborates with an ensemble from the White Mountain Symphony Orchestra (led by Theresa Bailey) in producing Vivaldi's Gloria for the May 2008 Spring Concert.

Constance (Cierra Weaver) is unsuccessfully wooed by Bernard (Donovan Stole) in the 2007 Fall Dinner Theatre production of Lovers and Executioners, directed by Dr. Mike Solomonson and Set Design by Debra Fisher.
