Financial Aid Refund Check Disbursement
Fall 2010 Semester
Important Dates:
- Beginning July 30 - NPC Financial Aid Students will begin receiving their NPC Money Cards in the mail. You will need to activate this card as soon as possible by visiting NPCMoneyCard.com and select your refund preference. If you have any questions you may contact the NPC Business Office at 1-800-266-7845, ext. 7480.
- Thursday, August 5th – Last day to make changes to class schedule for financial aid refunds.
- Monday and Tuesday, August 9th and 10th - No registration these two days. Financial Aid Office finalizing financial aid awards.
- Wednesday, August 11th – Business Office prepares financial aid refunds. No increase to financial aid awards for classes added on or after this date. You should contact the NPC Financial Aid Office, 1-800-266-7845, ext. 7318 if you have made changes to your enrollment.
- Beginning Thursday, August 12th - Students should begin expecting their financial aid refunds to be available on their NPC Money Card if it has been activated.

Your Financial Aid Refund will be released to you one week early so you can purchase your textbooks on-line.
Go to www.npc.edu. Select Student Servicesand NPC Online Bookstore Information OR select Online Bookstore.
Financial Aid Refunds will be delayed for students who apply late and for late registraion. There is currently a 4 - 6 week processing time for students applying for financial aid.
STUDENTS: It is your responsibility to contact the Financial Aid Office when changes are made to your class schedule to avoid any financial aid overpayment charges.
- If you drop a course before or on the last day to withdraw without a "W" on your transcript - you should add another course for the SAME NUMBER OF CREDIT HOURS to avoid any financial aid overpayment charges. Last day to withdraw without a "W" on your transcript is Friday, September 17, 2010.
- If your course is canceled by NPC - you should add another course for the SAME NUMBER OF CREDIT HOURS to avoid any financial aid overpayment charges. Cancelled class by NPC or during cancellation day, Tuesday, August 17, 2010.
- If you do not attend a course you registered for and your instructor reports you as a NO SHOW your financial aid will be adjusted and you will be billed.
- If you exchange one course for another contact financial aid. Financial aid will check to see if the new couse meets the same requirements as your original course for financial aid funding.
- If you received a "Financial Aid Refund" AND DROPPED ALL THE COURSES you enrolled for you must contact the Financial Aid Office immediately. It is best to contact financial aid before withdrawing.
- If you are dropped from your course and you are still attending – your instructor must contact the NPC Registrar's Office in writing. Do not ask the instructor to call the Registrar's Office, Financial Aid Office or Business Office.
- All financial aid refund checks are processed through your NPC Money Card account. There are no exceptions.
- All of this information is provided in the "Award Letter Information Brochure" mailed to each financial aid student with their award letter. Additional information regaring the NPC Money Card has been included with your Award Letter.
