Auditions for Fall productions

Auditions for NPC's fall productions will be held on Tuesday, August 26th and Thursday, August 28th from 6:00-9:30 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center on the Snowflake/Taylor Silver Creek Campus.

Auditions for the musical 1776, which depicts the struggle of the Continental Congress to write and approve the Declaration of Independence will be held, as well as auditions for As It Is In Heaven, a play which dramatizes the upheaval which occurred within a utopian Shaker religious community in Kentucky in the 1830s.

For the auditions, prospective performers are asked to prepare 15 bars of music from a Broadway-style song and a one-minute comic or dramatic monologue. However, cold script readings music auditions will also be available for individuals who do not audition with prepared music or monologues. In 1776, there are roles for 25 men and 2 women. As It Is In Heaven has roles for 9 women.
